Cookie policy

1. The short version

backendsolutionsllc.co sets no cookies and loads nothing from any third party. The fonts, stylesheet, script and images are all served from this domain, so no outside company sees your visit. You can read every page and send us a project brief without anything being stored that identifies you.

The one thing we store is your answer to the privacy notice — see your choice below.

2. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, so the site can recognise the browser on a later visit. Related technologies — local storage, session storage and tracking pixels — do much the same thing. This policy covers all of them.

3. What this site actually stores

Exactly one item, and only after you answer the notice:

• Your privacy choice. Stored in your browser's local storage under the name bsl-consent. It records whether you allowed analytics, and the date you chose. It is not a tracking identifier, it never leaves your browser, and it is not sent to us or to anyone else. Its only job is to stop us asking you the same question on every page.

Storing a record of your choice is treated as strictly necessary under the ePrivacy rules, which is why it does not itself require consent. Everything else on the page — the typefaces, the menu, the FAQ accordions, the carousels, the counters — runs without storing anything at all.

4. Your choice, and how to change it

On your first visit you are asked whether to allow anonymous analytics. Refusing is a single click, in the same place and the same size as accepting; nothing on the site is withheld or degraded if you refuse, and there is no option that quietly means yes.

We do not currently run any analytics. Your answer is recorded now so that if we add it later, it only runs for people who allowed it. If that changes, this page is updated first and everyone is asked again.

To change your mind at any time, use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain has the same effect and the notice will simply appear again.

5. Server logs are not cookies

Our web host records each request — IP address, browser user agent, page requested, timestamp — in standard server logs used for security and diagnostics. These logs are not cookies, are not affected by your choice above, and are not used to track you across sites. They are covered in the privacy policy, and rotate within 12 months.

6. Controlling storage anyway

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking everything may break sites that need cookies to sign you in; it will not break this one. The only consequence here is that we cannot remember your privacy choice, so the notice appears on each visit.

The same applies in a private or incognito window, where storage is cleared when you close it.

7. Checking for yourself

You do not have to take our word for any of this. Open your browser's developer tools, then:

• the Network tab shows every request the page makes — all of them point at backendsolutionsllc.co;
• the Application tab (Storage in Firefox) shows Cookies is empty, and Local Storage holds nothing until you answer the notice.
